We have a home that is minutes from the motorway, Massey University and the Albany Mega Centre, but is still set in suburban bush. It is very quiet and although we are still settling in ourselves having recently moved here we are really enjoying the area. There is a number of shops in 15-20 mins walking distance that have a variety of take-out, fresh fruit & vege, cafe and bakery. One of the largest shopping centres in NZ - is the Albany Mega-Centre is only 5-8 minutes up the road, as is the QBE or North Harbour Stadium. The house is modern and has a large dining with multiple decks and views to the strip of bush, there is a double room (queen) suitable for 1-2 persons - the bathroom is only used occasionally by house visitors. The position is ideal for a student at Massey University or similar. We are 2 retired Doctors with our a close family friend. As educated people we enjoy good conversation and food and we used to host students for many years at our previous home - so are aware of different needs. We generally follow a nutritarian approach to diet with a vegan, semi-vegetarian and another on the fence who still eats some free range meat! So if you are interested in healthier food /lifestyle/conservation we have that in common. Power, water and wifi is included. Meals are negotiable! We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
