We have two large sunny rooms available, with a shared bathroom between two bedrooms.

We are a couple in our early 60s, Paul works full time as a business analyst and Catherine runs the home, gardens and hangs out with our grandson. Our adult son Sebastian lives with us and works from home - is starting further study in software engineering for game design. Our 12 yr old grandson stays with us 2 nights per week. We have two miniature schnauzers and two cats.
We have hosted all ages from all over the world for over 20 years now, we love meeting new people and welcoming them into our home and family.

We have a lovely permaculture garden, we grow a lot of our own vegetables and fruit.

Our home is in a central suburb, close to trains and buses. Western Springs park is close by, as are MOTAT and the zoo. There is a frequent bus to Auckland University that takes 25m-35 inc walking and 15-20m to Unitec.

These prices include facilities (water / power / gas / unlimited internet ) and household basics (laundry powder / toilet paper /hand wash / dishwashing products / cleaning products) .. you make your own breakfast with provided food, we all eat dinner together and take turns cooking and cleaning up as a family. You are welcome to cook if you like, or else we will do all the cooking. Housework is done for you, we just ask that you keep your room tidy.

Note: we prefer to host only 18 year olds and older.
