Hello! We are Hippolyte and Eolia, two recent French graduates (both 21, male and female) currently taking a gap year before pursuing our Master's degrees in 2026.

We're heading to New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa for about six months. We both hold Bachelor's degrees in English LLCER (Literature, Civilisation, and Linguistics) and are keen to fully immerse ourselves in the local culture. Choosing an homestay through Auckland Homestay is, in our opinion, the best way to start our adventure!

We're arriving in Auckland on November 21st and aim to stay for about two months, which will give us enough time to set up our trip around New Zealand.

Regarding our hobbies: I (Hippolyte) am particularly interested in gaming. I love board sports—I was heavily into skateboarding for 7 years and still enjoy watching others ride. I am also very open to Asian culture (literature, cuisine).
