We are looking for a short-term homestay in Blockhouse Bay starting around 25 July 2026, for a stay of approximately 2 to 4 weeks.
My son is a 7-year-old boy who will attend Blockhouse Bay Primary School for a short one-month study experience. We sincerely hope to stay with a local Kiwi family who has a child of a similar age (around 7 years old). It would be wonderful for my son to have a peer to play with and practice English with after school, so he can experience real local family life and make new friends.
Please note that we do NOT need you to provide any meals for us.
I am fully capable of cooking my own meals and doing daily housework. During our stay, I am very happy toshare cooking, washing dishes, tidying up and help with general household chores. We are clean, quiet, responsible and easy-going guests, and we will fully respect your family’s daily routine and house rules.
We love kids, we are gentle and easy to get along with, and we hope to create a relaxed and happy atmosphere for your family during our short stay. We are also happy to join simple family activities and communicate with you to learn local New Zealand culture.
