Quiet and Responsible Student Seeking a Long-Term Homestay in Parnell or Nearby

We are looking on behalf of our quiet, polite and responsible 16-year-old son, who attends school in Parnell.

He is clean, independent and respectful of other people’s privacy. He does not smoke or drink alcohol and usually spends his time studying, working on his computer or relaxing quietly in his room.

He currently lives very happily with a University of Auckland lecturer in Parnell. However, his host’s circumstances have recently changed, so he needs to find a new long-term home. An excellent reference from his current host can be provided.

We are hoping to find:

• A very clean, safe and peaceful home
• A smoke-free, drug-free and party-free household
• A home shared by only a few quiet, respectful and tidy people
• A naturally bright furnished bedroom with space for a computer desk
• Reliable Wi-Fi and good heating
• Access to a washing machine and dryer
• Some storage space in the fridge and freezer

Preferred areas are Parnell, Newmarket, north-western Remuera and northern Epsom.

Convenient walking distance or one direct bus to the Titoki Street area in Parnell would be ideal. No parking is required.

Meals are not essential. He can prepare simple meals himself, and we can also arrange prepared frozen meals for him. We would nevertheless be happy to consider a homestay arrangement with meals.

He occasionally travels with his family, but the room would remain his and payment would continue in full during any absence.

Move-in is preferred during September 2026, although we are happy to wait a little longer for the right home. We are seeking a stable, genuinely long-term arrangement.

His family is based in New Zealand. Reliable and punctual payment is guaranteed.
