Milford, North Shore, Auckland
Hi there, sorry, the rooms will not be available until probably 8 April.
My husband and I are then going on holiday (leaving 11th April)
If you are interested in living in our pleasant home, it would initially be a flatting situation with our responsible and respectful 30 year son (and probably with friendly cat another of our children has left with us for a while !).
You would also have to make your own way to our house using the 'supershuttle' service, or uber.
Fees with Breakfast (get your own cereal), Lunch (make your own sandwiches) with food provided
Dinner will be made for you. If you enjoy cooking any input at any time welcome.
Two bedrooms available – kids now flatting
House with young ‘empty nesters’ and 30 year son. (see comment above - initially just with son)
Pleasant 4 bedroom house.
Quiet no exit part of the street, going up East Coast Road from the shops.
Safe, suburban area.
Handy to many amenities – walking times from google maps
Milford shopping mall ( 9 mins, 650m) and non express bus to city, etc
Milford Beach – (19 mins, 1km)
Smales Farm bus station (28 mins, 2km) Express NX1 and NX2 to city, and some local buses.
AUT Akoranga Campus (51 mins, 4 km)
North Shore Hospital (25 mins, 2km)
(For previous North Shore guests, or those familiar with the area we are near Stanley Ave, so close to Westlake schools
Westlake Girls 25 mins, 2 km walk
Westlake Boys 25 mins, 2 km walk)
One room upstairs, one downstairs. Both rooms with single bed, chest of drawers, desk with chair.
Although both rooms have double wardrobes, only about half each wardroom is available. However, storage is actually good. (I am trying to get the children no longer at home to take their stuff)
The house is a reasonable size, with a room downstairs with table tennis table.
The deck is pleasant with immediate garden view.
The cat will probably be here for the duration of your stay. He is friendly and expects to be patted.
You would have to do your own washing, and keep you room tidy.
Breakfast – serve your own, and Lunch – make your own sandwiches.
Dinner made for you.
However, from mid April to start of July, husband and I will be on holiday, with only the 30 year son at home.
With a reduction to $290 per week, you would then be responsible for getting your own food, preparing it, and cleaning up. (while husband and I are on holiday mid April to start of July)
