Opportunity to be in a homestay with a genuine sociable kiwi family
Our two daughters have now left home. So, sometimes there may be two bedroom available. Or one. Or none !
Yes, the Internet works well in both bedrooms, having recently put in a Hybrid Whole Home Powerline Mesh WiFi 6 System

We are a couple in our active 60s and son Bryce who did LLB/BCom at UoA
(Our two daughters have now left home).
One bedroom is upstairs, the other is downstairs.
We would prefer as a new homestay someone who is sociable, with a reasonable level of English. There is space and respect of other people, for working or studying from home. It would be a plus if you can play table tennis.

Breakfast (get your own cereal /toast)
Lunch (make your own sandwiches) with food provided - or do fried rice etc from food provided.
Dinner will be made for you.

In a safe, suburban area, we're in a quiet street.
Milford Mall ( 9 mins, 650m) and bus stop
Milford Beach – (19 mins, 1km)
Smales Farm bus station (28 mins, 2km) Express NX1 and NX2 to city, local buses.
AUT Akoranga Campus (51 mins, 4 km) .
North Shore Hospital (25 mins, 2km)
Westlake Schools - girls or boys 2km

The downstairs bedroom has a double wardrobe, single bed, chest of drawers, desk with chair, heater.
The upstairs bedroom has the above, plus a large bookcase.
Both rooms are warm and comfortable, with new electric blankets and linen

The house is overall quite large, a second lounge downstairs has a table tennis table.
There's enough room to have friends around without disturbing everyone else.
Apart from the ensuite for the master bedroom, there's one bathroom upstairs, and one downstairs. So, over all there are three bathrooms.
The kitchen is quite large. Room to store your snacks. Of course, you're welcome to make friends a cup of tea or coffee. Although dinner is provided, if studying or otherwise at home, you would be welcome to cook for yourself, or make a cake for all of us to share ! (Semester One 2024 - Our two young ladies sometimes do a cook up for us as well!)

You would have to do your own washing, and keep your room tidy.
