We are from New Zealand and America with a tidy warm home, two sweet cats and a sunny backyard with a fireplace.

We live in a beautiful area called St Heliers and regularly host foreign guests studying or working in Auckland city. We are fluent in English and Spanish. I’m an experienced caring mom - my children have grown and flown.

Our house is a 2-minute walk to the bus which is 20-minute direct ride to Auckland CBD (central business district) with stunning ocean views the whole way. It’s also a 7-minute walk to St Heliers supermarket and beach.

We have two rooms available…. the master bedroom with ensuite and a guest bedroom. The third room has two nice, shy, tidy Chilean 30-year-old sisters who speak English and are staying until the end of 2024.

Each room has a queen bed & linens, bedside table with lamp, a desk and chair, drawer and closet space, utilities (gas, power, water) included, and unlimited WIFI. There is a shared bathroom and additional separate toilet downstairs.

The price is: $300 with no meals or, when we arrive home from Europe, $350 for 2 meals per day (usually breakfast and dinner).

You have full access to the fully-stocked kitchen with oil, sugar, soy sauce, salt etc.

We are happy to provide privacy and independence, or interaction and involvement, depending on your preferred style. We are open to stays of one month to one year.

We are travelling to Europe 19 July to 2 September 2024, so you would have the two Chilean women for company, and the full use of the house.
