About this homestay
We are a friendly Sri Lankan family of four living in a quiet, family-oriented neighbourhood in New Zealand. Our home is warm, peaceful, and respectful, and we enjoy spending time together cooking, going for walks, watching movies, and sharing stories. Our children are school-aged (11 years and 9 years), and we value kindness, open communication, and making others feel at home.
Our home is located on Barrack Road in Mt Wellington, a convenient and well-connected area in Auckland. We’re just a short bus ride from Sylvia Park Shopping Centre, which has a wide range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, a movie theatre, and train station. There are also nearby parks, walking tracks, and local shops within walking distance. Public transport is easily accessible from our street, making it simple to get to the city, universities, and other parts of Auckland. It’s a safe and welcoming neighbourhood with everything a student/ worker might need close by.
