About this homestay
Hello Team,
My name is Ishara Jayasuriya, and my husband, Cham Gunarathna, and I live at 51E Ferndale Road, Mount Wellington.
I am currently employed as a Banker at BNZ, and my husband works as a Senior Quarantine Officer. We are a family of four with two young boys aged eight and six.
We have been hosting international students since last year and have found the experience incredibly rewarding. We genuinely enjoy welcoming students into our home and supporting them during their stay in New Zealand. Creating a safe, friendly, and caring environment for our students is very important to us.
Originally from Sri Lanka, we have been living in Aotearoa New Zealand for nearly 12 years. We are a warm, respectful, and family-oriented household, and we enjoy sharing our values, culture, and everyday Kiwi lifestyle with students from different backgrounds.
