I am a quiet, independent, mature male working fulltime.
Non smoker, drug free and not a party animal.
Always pay my rent on time.
As the new Granny Flat legislation is in effect, I am looking for something like this.
It doesn't have to be built now, but the sooner the better, and before winter.
Or it can be an existing flat but must be in good condition, not plagued with dampness, insects, rodents or other horror stories.
In the Mission Bay, St Heliers, Kohimarama areas or close by. Within 10-15 minutes drive of Glen Innes train station would be ideal, with easy access to the cycle ways.
I catch the bus to work from GI and drive there to use the park and ride. I leave for work shortly before 6am.
Accommodation must be or have;
- MOST IMPORTANT; long term, I am not interested in a short tenancy
- quiet and no loud traffic or party houses nearby
- self-contained with a good sized bathroom (shower and toilet)
- basic kitchen with a sink, microwave, fridge, freezer (not a bar fridge), portable cooktop (don't need an oven as I use an air fryer to cook)
- privacy
- own access
- minimum of a Queen Size bed (King would be better) that is new and never been used by other tenants (if not, I will supply my own)
- fully insulated
- all expenses included (power/water/internet/gas)
- up to $350 per week (negotiable depending on meals)
Optional extra's that would be nice, but not necessary
- desk with a proper office chair
- sofa bed
- OSP for one car
- storage for bicycle and some tools
- heat pump air-conditioning
- meals, lunch and dinner (Mon to Fri)
- washing machine or access to one (dryer is not required)
- access to an outdoor deck area for barbecue/relaxing
May have the occasional guest (niece or other family) who visits.
Kids and or pets are fine with me, but if it is a downstairs flat or similar, then some consideration for noise needs to be mutually respected.
