About me
I am a focused and motivated senior student preparing for my final years of high school in a school in Albany Auckland, with long-term goals of studying overseas and pursuing a high-level academic and sporting pathway. I take my education seriously and aim to place myself in an environment that supports strong study habits, independence, and personal growth.
Academically, I am driven and organised, and I am used to balancing a full schedule across school, sport, and extracurricular commitments. I am particularly strong in communication and public speaking, and I have been involved in speech and drama training for several years. I also play competitive basketball and train regularly, so access to a court nearby is important for me to maintain my routine.
I am respectful, self-directed, and easy to live with. I keep my space tidy, manage my time well, and am comfortable living independently while still being part of a household. I enjoy being around motivated, high-achieving people and appreciate a home environment that is calm, structured, and supportive of study and personal development.
What I’m looking for in a homestay
If possible, I would really value a homestay that can provide the following:


A private bedroom with its own ensuite


A quiet office or dedicated study space


Access to a piano in the home (or very nearby)


A basketball court nearby, or somewhere I can train regularly


I am looking for a well-run, respectful household where I can focus on my academic and extracurricular goals while also being part of a positive home environment. I am not an international student, but I am hoping to experience a broader range of people, environments, and opportunities in Auckland. My English is top of my current school, so I'm not here to learn English, but to immerse myself in a more advanced environment. If appropriate, I would enjoy being included in occasional weekend or holiday outings to explore more of New Zealand and the city.
My goal over the next few years is to perform at a high level academically, continue developing in sport and communication, and prepare for future university opportunities overseas. I am looking for a homestay that can provide a stable and supportive base while I work toward these goals.
In terms of budget, I am open and flexible. I would prefer that hosts suggest a price based on what they are able to provide and the overall environment offered, as finding the right fit is the most important factor for me.
