Dear Host,
My name is Chen Lirong from China. I will be visiting Massey University (Albany campus) for one year as a visiting scholar, sponsored by the China Scholarship Council. I will be accompanied by my daughter.
Visa details: I hold a Specific Purpose Work Visa, and my daughter holds a Dependent Child Student Visa, which allows her to attend a local primary school as a domestic student (no international tuition fees).
I am very interested in your homestay. Before we proceed, I would like to ask:
School zone: Could you please provide your full address (or street name)? I need to check which primary school zone it belongs to, and whether the school accepts children aged (usually Year 1 in NZ).
Cost: How much would it be per week/month for both of us? Are meals included? I am happy to cook for myself and also willing to help with cooking if that helps.
Language environment: I hope my daughter can have a good English-speaking environment, which is one of the main reasons we choose homestay.
