About this homestay

We are a kiwi family with two parents in their 30s with two small children. We also have a 20 year old German au pair (nanny) who lives with us.

The room we have free is downstairs and shares a separate access, bathroom and lounge with the nanny. The room is in a new part of the house so it is very nice and our house has great views of the local mountain ranges.

We are outgoing and love to meet new people from different cultures. Our home is a 10 minute walk from the western train line which goes into Newmarket and the city. We also have lots of busses and the MAXX website has all of this information.

We are very close to lots of local shops and a short drive to lots of nice beaches.

We eat healthy food which includes meat most nights (so not suitable for a vegetarian).

We ask that our homestays become part of the family and this means sharing the normal work of the house and cleaning up after yourself.

Please note we will not have a German person as our nanny prefers to speak only English as she is working to improve.
