About this homestay
You'll be sharing my home with me, Sarah and old one fat Tobycat. I'm 53, but young at heart and I'll be a mix of mum and a friend.
I'm an artist so I love painting. I've also started writing books for younger children, about NZ native animals and creatures.
I love going to the beach and spending time with family, especially my granddaughter.
It’s a lovely little place in a great location:
On the North Shore but close to the Harbour Bridge & CBD. 10 km's from Auckland University.
(Kauri Glen Road, Northcote).
It's a comfortable, fully furnished home and room. And next door to a beautiful Kauri Forest with walking tracks.
There's great indoor/outdoor flow, for the warmer months and a lovely colourful garden. With a private courtyard and outdoor furniture to enjoy it.
Its a very safe street. Off street parking. Garage storage.
Your washing and cleaning will be done regularly, all I ask is that you keep your room tidy. I will vacuum, dust & change the bed linen etc.
Food is negotiable
I'd like an easy going, quiet and respectful person, who's looking for both a 'home and family' environment, as well being free to come and go.
I live a quiet life and my home is my haven. Hopefully it will be yours too.

It has a king single bed, with a desk and chair for your study. There's qa wardrobe as well as a beautiful set of drawers, with a matching bedside table and lamp.
The morning sun shines in which is lovely.
A comfortable bedroom, that you can make your own.
