Homestay in Auckland City

Our home is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom open plan house situated down a quiet drive with lovely views of the Auckland CBD. We are a family of three, mum and dad (early 50s) and daughter in early 20’s. Most of our children have left home and are married with their own families and we are now able to host travelers, workers or students into our home. We have a busy schedule and are out most days with two working professionals and a busy stay at home mum. We are non-smokers and do not have any house pets apart from three chickens in our large backyard who produce delicious free-range eggs every morning.

We offer a fully furnished room, including a desk, double door wardrobe, tall boy, shared bathroom between one other occupant and of course full access to laundry and kitchen. Our house is comfortable and homely and we encourage our guests to relax and feel at home too. Unlimited internet access is included ofcourse.

We are situated a minute walk from the nearest bus stop with direct routes to the Glen Eden train station or metro New Lynn train station. Our home is only a 30 minute drive from some of West Auckland’s scenic beaches such as Piha, Anawhata and Karekare or a 2-minute drive to local shops, gyms and lovely eateries.
Ideally, we would love to offer our home to a long-term home stay who is independent and able to prepare some of their own meals with a fully stocked pantry kitchen for days or evenings when we are out.
