Homestay in Belmont

I have a lovely home near Takapuna, very central to motorway, city,buses, supermarkets, etc. I have been hosting students for over 10 years and very much enjoy it.

$270 per week and the rent includes the use of all linen, sheets & towels. Free unlimited WiFi, laundry, full kitchen and basic breakfast (toast + preserves). Meals are optional at an extra cost and I will be cooking everyday anyway so probably more cost effective than buying your own!

Available to FEMALE workers and students. A minimum stay of 12 weeks preferred thereafter as long as you like.

I enjoy learning about different cultures and look foward to hearing about yours - as much or as little as you would like to interact and I am very happy to share/tell you about New Zealand life and culture too.

The bedroom that is available is large, warm and very comfortable with lots of cupboard and desk/working space.
There are bathrooms which makes things nice and easy in the mornings too!

The house is very close to Takapuna, Akoranga Station and on the bus route that goes to Auckland city (802 bus - 35 mins). We are also directly on the bus route to Takapuna and to the Bayswater Ferry (801 - takes 15 minutes either way) and the bus to Devonport / Takapuna Bus is an easy five minute walk from the house. These buses connect directly with the Bayswater and Devonport Ferry service to Auckland City (Britomart) and offer a very beaufitul and easy way to get into town (15 minutes max by ferry from Bayswater or Devonport - 30 minutes max with connecting buses).

Me and my home are very welcoming. It is a respectful, friendly and peaceful place with lovely quiet neighbours and two sleepy cats who do like to lie outside in the sun during the day.

There is a lovely bakery/coffee shop on the corner just in front of the bus stop so great coffee if you are a coffee lover (most Kiwis are), only a few steps from the house!
