Homestay in Belmont

I have a lovely townhouse in Belmont (very close to Takapuna Beach). It is very easy access to the city by ferry or bus and close to a supermarkets and some of Auckland's best beaches, etc. I have been hosting for over 10 years and very much enjoy it.

I currently have two students but my home will be available again from the beginning of October.

$250 per week and the rent includes the use of linen, sheets & towels. Free unlimited WiFi, laundry, full kitchen. Meals are optional at an extra cost.

Available to visitors, workers and students.

I enjoy learning about different cultures and look foward to hearing about yours - as much or as little as you would like to interact and I am very happy to share/tell you about New Zealand life and culture too.

The bedroom that is available is large, warm and very comfortable with lots of cupboard and desk/working space.
There are bathrooms which makes things nice and easy in the mornings too!

The house is very close to Takapuna, Akoranga Station and on the bus route that goes to Auckland city (802 bus - 35 mins). It is also directly on the bus route to Takapuna and to the Bayswater Ferry (801 - takes 15 minutes either way) and the bus to Devonport / Takapuna Bus is an easy five minute walk from the house. These buses connect directly with the Bayswater and Devonport Ferry service to Auckland City (Britomart) and offer a very beaufiful and easy way to get into town (15 minutes max by ferry from Bayswater or Devonport - 30 minutes max with connecting buses).

My home is a respectful, friendly and peaceful place with lovely quiet neighbours and one friendly cat. I am quite busy with work and get out a bit socially, so it can be a bit quiet for some but if you like your own space - it would be perfect.

There is a lovely bakery/coffee shop on the corner just in front of the bus stop so great coffee if you are a bread/pastry and coffee lover, great coffee and treats from Daily Bread are only a few steps away from the house!
