Homestay in Albany

A lovely sunny upstairs bedroom. Fully furnished. Share large bathroom with 1 other.
Walking distance to Massey university, North Shore, Auckland.
Plenty of safe off-street parking. Close to bus station for transport to CBD & other places of study or work

We would like you to speak English as much as possible. We have had Japanese homestay students before and really enjoyed the experience.

The house is a large comfortable home in a quiet cul-de-sac road in the safe suburb of Albany on the North Shore, Auckland.
We are an adult family with Mum working full time & sometimes working from home, a son (late 20s) who is a butcher by trade, and loves traveling to Japan, and a daughter (mid 20s) who is home based.

MEALS: you are welcome to be self-sufficient with your meals or take the following options:
Breakfast: cereal /toast provided for you to make breakfast
Lunch: make your own sandwiches, fried rice etc with food provided.
Dinner: usually everyone does their own thing but food/groceries can be provided for you to make what you like or you can join family who like ramen, rice, chicken, homemade pizzas, burgers etc.

We have 2 cats & 2 small dogs, Bailey is a 13yo West Highland White Terrier & Freya is a 11 month old Biewer terrier (very similar to a Yorkshire terrier) both are friendly & quiet ( don’t bark much)
