Homestay in Auckland for $280-320 per week

We are a friendly Brazilian couple in our 40s with a 21-year-old son, and we have been living in New Zealand for over 13 years. We enjoy welcoming people into our home and providing a supportive family-style homestay while sharing cultures and experiences. Although Portuguese is our first language, we are all fluent in English.

Our home is conveniently located, with a bus stop just a five-minute walk away offering direct access to the city and the local mall. There are also two large parks nearby for guests who enjoy the outdoors, one of which can be accessed via a pathway at the bottom of the driveway.

The house features an open-plan kitchen on the second floor that connects to the dining and main living area, where we spend most of our time together. A second living room on the ground floor is available for guests who prefer a quieter space to relax. The bathroom and an additional toilet are shared with our son and possibly one other guest.

We enjoy spending quality time with our guests, often over shared meals or a barbecue. Home-cooked dinners are provided most evenings and typically feature Brazilian-style cuisine, though we love learning about and trying foods from other cultures.

We are looking for a clean and tidy guest who is happy to be part of a family environment, respects shared spaces, and enjoys cultural exchange.
