Welcome to Our Kiwi Family Home

Welcome to our home in Glen Eden, West Auckland, where we enjoy sharing our family life and giving students the opportunity to experience a little bit of everyday New Zealand living.

We are a family of three. Our 17-year-old son is currently studying, my husband works as a truck driver, and I run my own Personal Training business and also teach First Aid. We are a friendly, active family who enjoy the simple things in life — spending time together, bike riding, tramping, gardening, family events and enjoying time outdoors.

Our home is a comfortable and welcoming place where students can feel safe, supported and at home while they are studying in New Zealand. We enjoy getting to know our students, sharing conversations and helping them settle into life in a new country. We welcome students from all cultures and appreciate the opportunity to learn about their lives and cultures too.

Your Own Private Space

You will have your own private bedroom, furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a bed, linen, bedside table and lamp, clothes racks and drawers.

You will also have unlimited internet access throughout the home, making it easy to keep in touch with family and friends and stay connected with your studies.

A Dedicated Study Space

One of the special features of our homestay is a separate study and breakaway area, giving you your own quiet space away from the main living areas.

The study area includes:

Your own bathroom facilities
Study space suitable for individual study
TV with HDMI cords so you can connect your own device
Unlimited internet
An outdoor area to enjoy during the warmer summer months
Enough space to comfortably host study groups

We understand how important having a quiet place to study can be, so this area provides a great balance between being part of a family home and having your own dedicated study environment.

We are conveniently located in Glen Eden, West Auckland, with public transport close by.

Bus route just 50 metres from our home
Train station approximately km away
On weekdays, we can drop you at the train station at approximately 7:20am

This makes getting to school, university or work much easier while still allowing you to enjoy a relaxed home environment.
