Welcome to Our Peaceful Retreat in Albany Village

We are a professional couple living in the tranquil and scenic Albany Village, an area known for its calm atmosphere and natural beauty.

Maria is a registered nurse who enjoys staying active through dancing, going to the gym, and taking walks in the local park. She loves cooking and entertaining, and in her quieter moments enjoys reading and drawing.

Joseph also works in the health sector, with an office located nearby. He has trained in Kung Fu and Tai Chi for over 20 years and enjoys spending time outdoors as well as unwinding with gaming. Our friendly dog, Maggie, brings warmth, calm, and comfort to our home.

We also have a new addition to the family. Bluebell is a fluffy British Shorthair kitten who is playful, curious, and gently building her confidence each day.

We have hosted homestays for a number of years and truly enjoy the experience. Over time, we have welcomed students from India, China, Japan, Germany, and Switzerland into our home. We value cultural exchange and take pride in creating a warm, respectful, and supportive environment for those staying with us.

Our location is ideal, with Massey University just a 20 minute walk away and easy access to high schools such as Albany Senior High School and Rangitoto College. The nearby Albany bus depot offers convenient routes to the CBD, other universities, and beyond.

If you enjoy shopping and dining out, Westfield Albany is just a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk away. It is a one stop hub for fashion, entertainment, dining, and more.

As a member of our household, you will have access to a private gym, heated pool, and spa pool or jacuzzi reserved for residents of our community. With unlimited Hyperfibre 2 internet offering ultra fast speeds and low latency, you will stay connected whether you are studying, working, or gaming.
