Homestay in Silverdale

We are a fun, friendly, welcoming family of three, who love meeting new people and engaging with different cultures. We have hosted lots of students from countries such as China and Japan. Our students have studied at Massey University in Albany, Auckland University and Auckland Language school in CBD.

Our family home is in a newly built safe, suburb with lots of other families, international students and kids.

We offer a large fully furnished room located upstairs with a double bed, study desk and ample closet space. Home has unlimited fibre and internet connection with Spark.

Access to a beautiful, clean bathroom which has a shower, toilet and large bath tub.

Welcome to eat supper with the family and help yourself to food in the fridge and pantry for preparing your breakfast and lunch.

Guest will have access to entire house to share with our family so there is no restrictions.

Easy access to Hibiscus Bus Station - 6min walk with NX1/2 and other lines running directly to key stations and into the city.
Also close to Orewa, Motorway and Pak ‘n Save (Pak ‘n Save is 2 minutes down the road). Motorway about 3 minutes away by vehicle.

We are also happy for students to join us on family trips if they so choose and my husband and I are always willing to drop off students if they would like to meet their friends as they become used to Auckland.

(We have two cats: Toast & Shadow but you will hardly see them as Shadow spends most of her time outside and Toast comes and goes as he pleases;-)
