About this homestay
We have a large, modern, warm house with 5+ bedrooms and excellent wifi. Our three children have all left home, so now we enjoy hosting guests.
Our house is just 11 mins walk to the New Lynn transport hub (train/bus), so it's very easy to get around the city from here. Next to the train station is also a Mall, where you can buy almost anything you need.
We have four bedrooms for homestay guests, and a large open-plan living area. There's also a small second living room with a piano and TV, and in the garage there is a table tennis table you can use.
We have our own bedroom and living space downstairs, so mostly the upstairs is just homestay guests, but we occasionally have a family member stay upstairs as well. Our cat and our dog stay mostly downstairs in our area, but you will occasionally see them too.
We will sometimes have shared meals together, or an outing to see something interesting around the city. So you can be as independent as you want to be.
We have a lovely shared outdoor area, including a covered deck area and pool which is lovely to use in summer!
You can cook your own meals in the big kitchen. There is plenty of space in the fridge/ freezer and pantry for you to put your groceries. There are grocery stores just 5 minutes walk from the house.
There is one shared bathroom for 3 rooms, and the largest room has its own en suite.
We can host you for few years or for a few months.

The utilities ( power, water, gas, wifi) are all included in the rent.
