Homestay in Kingsland

We live in a fabulous renovated old kiwi villa and are situated 4 km's from Auckland City Centre with public transport on our door step either by train or bus.

We have two rooms to rent in our light and sunny house which has a huge multi level garden:

- One room has a king single bed, furnished with a wardrobe, drawers and desk which looks out to the garden. $280-$300/week
Note: This room has a fold out king single bed, hence the room can be turned into a twin share or couple room ($350/week couples).

- The second room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, drawers and desk. $280-$300/week ($360/week couples).

The house is situated within a few minutes walk to the Kingsland cafe's and bars and looks across to Eden Park Stadium if you're into your rugby & cricket.

We are a busy family of 4 with two children (boy aged 12 1/2 and girl aged 10 1/2) and also have a super friendly dog and 1 cruisey cat and have shared our home with many different nationalities over the past 5 years for a variety of timeframes from 8 weeks to 3 years in one case (New Caledonian, Colombian, Argentinian, Brazilian, Mexican, English, Japanese, American, Saudi Arabian, Spanish & German).

The electric train station and bus stop is a 1 minute walk and we are and only 1 stage into the city. If you like walking, it will take you maximum 45 minutes to the bottom of the city, 30 minutes to University of Auckland in Symonds Street.

If you have a car, there is parking on the street and easy access to all motorways within 5 minutes.

Rate is room only. Kitchen available to prepare meals, but we are open to discuss meals as well at an additional cost.

If you are independent, have a mature attitude, are considerate and clean and tidy we'd love to have you.
