Homestay in Auckland City

Master bedroom with en suite, walk in wardrobe and own door onto deck. Can be furnished or unfurnished, whichever you prefer.

You have use of laundry and kitchen facilities. Free unlimited Internet including Neon, Light box, Amazon Prime and Netflix. Water and power included.

You can eat all meals with us for an additional $80 per week or manage your own food. Breakfast is on us.

There is off street parking if you have a car. The bus stop, 4 minutes walk away, goes down Dominion Rd to town, past the University of Auckland. It leaves every ten minutes, all day. The trip to town takes about 50 minutes. There is also a bus route that travels past Unitec. It takes about an hour and leaves every 20 minutes.

The house is large with great views and is surrounded by bush. There are walkways leading to beaches a couple of minutes from the house. It is quintessential New Zealand.

There is a shopping centre 3 minutes drive away or 15 minutes walk, including a supermarket, a post office, a cafe, shushi and a number of fast food restaurants.

We are a three woman household, myself, Jane, and my two teenage girls. We are a creative, academic family with a quiet weekly schedule but do have the occasional party to which you are most welcome. We also have three delicious cats who are quite shy and will steer clear of you unless you encourage them.

Our last tenant came for three months and stayed for three years. We are looking forward to meeting our next homestayer.
